The particular sign of this walnut dresser comes from the curve of its jambs combining softness and femininity. A broken molding softens the corners of the tray.
The curve of the uprights prints its movement from top to bottom until it propels outward the lower rails, fretted and molded.
The three drawers are assembled in double dovetail and maintained by wrought iron nails according to the expertise of the eighteenth century. The supports of these drawers bravely marry the curve of the uprights. On the drawers, protruding moldings accentuate the curve of the whole.
The cabinetmaker took advantage of the natural vein of his walnut board to use his medallion motif.
The stylized fleur-de-lys is the hallmark of a command from the nobility.
This precious chest is based on four crowbars supported by hooves.
