Office cabinet in walnut – Louis XIII – 17ᵗʰ century – Périgord
For lovers of the Louis XIII style, this cabinet because of its size and its way is a pure jewel. The diamond-shaped ornamentation pattern is present everywhere. It actually appears twenty-seven times, all at the same time on the central box, on the six doors and on the sides.
Devoted to the storage needs of a large office, this Louis XIII cabinet illustrates the type of command required by the noble houses and castles of Périgord.
It dates from the 17ᵗʰ century and enjoys a remarkable state of conservation.
